SKYE CUNNINGHAM

Skye grew up in England and spent her years training as an actress, and surprisingly, a dancer. Whilst on a cycle touring in Asia, she was drawn to the bright lights and the opportunities that Hong Kong offered and has stayed put for the past 25 years, spending the past 20 years on Lamma.

Skye is a teacher and a Curriculum and Literacy Advisor at a school in Kowloon. She is a published author, and also designs and writes phonics and grammar books for young children.

Hugely passionate about community, Skye and two of her friends, Irina and Cherie, founded  the Lamma Art Collective in 2017: an art studio that brings people from all walks of life together and is co-host of this unique exhibition.
