KATE ALLERT

Kate, a long-term resident of Lamma Island, is a writer and educator. To earn a living, she writes audio descriptions for the visually impaired, captions for the deaf and bespoke song lyrics for school productions, as well as diversity and inclusion scenarios and scripts for the corporate workplace. For pleasure, she writes steamy romance stories.

She lives up in the hills in an old farmhouse with her family, including numerous elderly dogs and cats.
